Licensed Medical Provider Network
Every patient at South Florida Trim Clinic is reviewed by a real, licensed medical provider — not an AI, not an algorithm. No eligibility decision is made without a qualified clinician's review.
Provider-Reviewed Care
What Provider-Reviewed Care Means
"Provider-reviewed" is not a marketing phrase here — it describes the actual clinical process that every South Florida Trim Clinic patient goes through.
Individual Review — No Batch Approvals
Every patient's health intake is reviewed individually by a licensed provider. There are no batch approvals, no automated green lights, and no systems that approve patients without clinical review. A real person reads your intake, evaluates your health history, and makes a clinical judgment about whether GLP-1 treatment is appropriate for your specific situation.
Licensed in Your State
Telehealth prescribing requires providers to hold a valid medical license in the state where the patient resides. South Florida Trim Clinic's provider network maintains licensure in the states where care is offered. Serving all 47 U.S. states through licensed telehealth providers.
Honest Eligibility: Not Everyone Qualifies
Provider-reviewed care means providers sometimes say no. GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for every patient. If you have contraindications — including a history of pancreatitis, medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2 syndrome, certain drug interactions, or other clinical concerns — a licensed provider will not approve you for a GLP-1 program. We believe this honest process is what makes medical care trustworthy.
Step-by-Step
Eligibility Review Process
What your licensed provider reviews before making any clinical recommendation.
Medical History Review
Your provider reviews your complete medical intake, including current diagnoses, past medical history, relevant surgeries, and any existing conditions that may affect GLP-1 eligibility.
Current Medications Review
All current medications are reviewed for potential interactions with GLP-1 medications. This includes diabetes medications, thyroid medications, blood pressure medications, and any oral medications with narrow therapeutic windows.
BMI & Weight History Review
Your provider reviews your BMI, weight history, and the clinical criteria for GLP-1 eligibility. General guidelines: BMI ≥ 30 (obesity), or BMI ≥ 27 with at least one weight-related health condition. These are starting criteria — your provider makes the final determination.
Contraindication Screening
Your intake is screened for conditions that contraindicate GLP-1 medications, including history of pancreatitis, medullary thyroid carcinoma, MEN2 syndrome, pregnancy, or specific GI conditions.
Clinical Determination
After reviewing all intake data, your licensed provider makes a clinical determination: eligible for GLP-1 consideration, not eligible, or requires additional information. This determination is clinical, not commercial — the answer may be no.
Clinical Prescribing
Prescription Review Process
Medication Selection
If eligible, your provider selects the most clinically appropriate medication — semaglutide, tirzepatide, or another option — based on your health history, goals, contraindications, and clinical judgment. You receive the medication your provider deems appropriate, not necessarily the one you request.
Dosage & Titration Plan
GLP-1 medications require dose titration — starting low and increasing gradually to minimize side effects. Your provider establishes your titration schedule based on your weight, tolerance, and clinical response. Dosage adjustments require provider review.
Pharmacy Prescription Routing
If prescribed, your provider sends your prescription to a licensed pharmacy (compounding or commercial, depending on your plan and clinical appropriateness). You pay the pharmacy directly. The clinic never marks up medication cost.
Ongoing Supervision
Telehealth Supervision Process
Provider supervision does not end after your first prescription. Medical oversight continues throughout your program.
Follow-Up Telehealth Appointments
Follow-up check-ins are conducted via telehealth, typically every 4–8 weeks during active treatment. Your provider reviews your progress, side effects, weight changes, and medication tolerance. These appointments are included in your medically supervised program — no per-visit charges.
Dosage Adjustment Reviews
Any dosage change — whether increasing, decreasing, or switching medications — requires a provider review. Patients do not self-adjust GLP-1 doses. All titration decisions are made by a licensed provider based on your clinical progress and safety.
Refill Management
Refill prescriptions are managed by your licensed provider, not automated. Your provider reviews your care before sending a refill — ensuring ongoing clinical appropriateness of your medication and dose. Refill management is included in your monthly fee.
Access to Support Team
Between provider appointments, you have access to our patient support team for non-emergency questions about your program, side effects, medication, and process. For medical emergencies, always call 911. Telehealth does not replace emergency care.
Safety First
Patient Safety Process
Contraindication Screening
Every intake form is screened for clinical contraindications before a provider review proceeds. Safety flags are reviewed before any clinical recommendation is made.
HIPAA Privacy Compliance
All patient data is handled under HIPAA regulations. Health information is never sold, never shared with advertisers, and is used exclusively for your clinical care.
Drug Interaction Review
All current medications are reviewed for interactions with GLP-1 medications. Patients on high-risk combinations (e.g., insulin, oral medications with narrow windows) receive additional clinical review.
Emergency Protocol
Telehealth is not a replacement for emergency care. Patients are advised to call 911 for any medical emergency. Our team does not provide emergency medical services.
Provider Accountability
Each provider is individually licensed and accountable to their state medical board. All prescribing decisions are within each provider's scope of practice and state-specific licensure.
Informed Consent Process
Patients receive information about medication risks, benefits, and alternatives before starting any program. Informed consent is documented before a prescription is issued.

Provider Network FAQ
Who reviews my health information at South Florida Trim Clinic?+
Every patient's health information is reviewed by a licensed medical provider — a physician, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant licensed in the state where the patient resides. No automated system or AI makes clinical decisions. Provider review is the foundational step before any eligibility determination or prescription is issued.
Are the providers at South Florida Trim Clinic board-certified?+
South Florida Trim Clinic works with licensed medical providers who hold applicable state medical licenses and relevant certifications for their scope of practice. Provider credentials are verified internally. Individual provider names, license numbers, and credentials are not currently published on the website but are available upon request during your consultation.
Can I request information about my specific provider?+
Yes. During your consultation, you can ask about your provider's credentials, licensure state, and specialty background. We believe in informed consent, and patients have a right to know who is reviewing their care.
What happens if I do not qualify for GLP-1 treatment?+
If a licensed provider determines you do not meet the clinical criteria for GLP-1 treatment, you will be told that directly — along with the reason, to the extent the provider can share it. We believe honest eligibility reviews are essential to safe care. Patients who do not qualify are not enrolled in a program, and no prescription is issued.
How does telehealth provider supervision work for ongoing care?+
After starting a program, ongoing care is managed through scheduled telehealth follow-up appointments, typically every 4–8 weeks. Your provider reviews your progress, adjusts your dosage if clinically appropriate, manages refills, and addresses any questions or concerns. All ongoing care is conducted by licensed providers through the telehealth platform.
Is my health information private and HIPAA-compliant?+
Yes. All patient health information is handled in strict compliance with HIPAA. Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than your clinical care and program management. Our telehealth platform uses HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and encryption for all communications and data storage.
